hi guys,,

need some advice on civic fd 1.8 exhaust modification i term of performance, less sound, low budget.:burnout:
if i change the muffler only, is it will increase the performance?:hmmmm:
any recommendation from experience or expertise??

two mod is best value for money,
intake + exhaust

by changing the exhaust of course it will increase performance, but tuning it will help much better...

have you change the filter yet ? let me recommend you one, ventos air fitler for your SI 1.8, is good and proven on dyno...

tq bro..not yet change the air filter, wait for mod exhaust 1st..i just wonder about this ventos air fitler..
never heard that thing before, try to search in in internet, nothing..
the exhaust system mean include the manifold, mid pipe n muffler, right? if i change the muffler only, will it effect the performance?try to save some budget..:banghead: he..

Is this 5zigen bordermax directly fit with civic FD 1.8 AT?
share something please...

there is alot exhaust in the market, some branded one comes with bolt on for your civic, some need modification.

changing any part of the exhaust does make differences but till what degree is all depend on you.

start from the rear, then goes to mid then all the way to the front....

haha, u want silent ones rite, sorry, bordermax is kinda loud. but good for performance.
silent ones like tanabe medallion should be suitable or mugen ones.
all depends on your budget.

i don mean silent like OEM, need nice sound without annoying other people...he..
tanabe medallion is kind of exhaust for Auto transmission?

just one thing, never oversize your exhaust if you arent sure what you going to do in future... because it does more harm than good..
