before i make this post i already searched and read alot of thread and info about b20b+b16a but dunno which piston to use

my question now was which piston will be most reliable for this setup?heard some people said use euro r piston, some said f20b piston

needs more info about this

will be much appreciated for the replies:adore:

this all just on how fast u wan to go
most gain for horse power just take 86mm DC 5 piston
consider cheap n big of HP
cheap n safe then u go for f20b 85mm
if safe n good u can go for je/wiseco/cp/toda +++

all the theory u listen was end up of $$

the answer was simple n easy

icic...which type of K20A?type R or normal?

stick to the original 84mm and mill the block slightly. since reliability is an issue then stock piston wont hurt.

"most reliable" right?

mill slighlt means how many mm?
0.5mm?0.8mm??
mill head good or mill block good?heard many ppl is mill the head~

milling head is a last resort if you warped the head, or no other choice to increase compression.

For me, that kind of mods you leave for last, or you want to tweak the compression slightly.

thanks for all the reply

what parts or modification need to be done for more reliable?
block guard?

as long the machining work is done well to fit the vtec head then i think
it should be ok. the rest like enough fueling, fuel cut and etc will determine reliability.

my personal opinion, i wouldnt want to use block guard since it keeps heat around the brace instead of releasing it. but then again, other ppl may have other opinions, beliefs and school or thought.
