Piston size!

i think oversizing option is more towards your personal budget. buying oversized pistons and the requirement to bore the cylinders are cost and time factor.

2. I lost compression, should I oversized the piston or try to change piston ring first?

J101,

is there any others solution? heard dat using bigger (+ .25) piston ring on stock piston will help too. any comment?

neither myself nor anyone else i know with that kind of setup experience before.

if that would have worked, maybe there are aplenty of .25 oversize users wouldnt have problems looking for rings.

i'm using .25 oversize pct piston before... nothing much different.. honda produce it not for upgrading purpose i think... its more to damage recovery e.g when u liner got scratch... so u can still use oem piston with oversize it.

in case anyone looking for 81.25 PCT piston, I hv 1 set for sale....brand new never been used b4....no rings....rm500....bought at LHS for rm580....

i think what budin99 meant was using .25 pistons with .00 rings :dontknow:
