The new maybe coming soon automotive policy in malaysia, nobody concern kah?

My current feeling about this issue.....1, this thing won't have a chance to take off because the policy is not well thought out.....no way it's going to work and end up sure a lot of loopholes and problems.

2. No F, don't send car for inspection and just continue to drive even roadtax expired....this will be a common practice soon if the policy is not well thought out (which it will not be anyway) Given that our law enforcement officer here...you know, I know...even without the policy in place...you can try guessing how many cars on the road is having a valid roadtax....

They said the same thing about GST. Look where we are at that. My feeling? It will DEFINITELY happen, as soon as they figured out how to split the pie among them.

I, for one, won't do that, because the amount of roadblocks all over the place in my area. Maybe the police are training/preparing for this.

Then its going to cause massive jams because ppl who can't afford to buy new car and inspection is so much........

They will tell you, car expensive then don't buy car....take public transport....they will go on to say our (Malaysia) public transport is better than Zimbabwe, Somalia, Congo, Tanzania, Madagascar, Afghanistan..etc...

And those fat minister say will reduce car price.....Yea, right...pelanpelantunggu la.....reduce price.....my ass......

I suggest those minister try living without their cars for 1 week....try taking public transport like the average Malaysian on peak hour....don't just take a joyride on the LRT on few station with bunch of bodyguards in half day then conclude our public transport is good.....trying taking public transport to Alor setar, then to JB then back to KL...

Just like they mention our school system is good, but they send their children to study overseas....:banghead:

All the old Japanese cars also will die if this happens. Silvia all gone, Skyline GT-R also gone, Supra, RX-7, whole lineup of Corolla from below KE70 to AE111, EF, EG, EK Civic all gone as well, old Evo and GC8 Impreza also gone. This is like a nightmare turning into a reality. :banghead:

Yup, kedai chop chop all will close down also....:banghead:

That is what I mean. If not done in town, many in kampungs areas will not renew their road tax...

Stock cars everywhere.....life is boring...only those rich with Ferrari and Lambo will be on the road for 10 years. also GTR35. Then all have to scrap after 10 years....and sell to other countries that don't have such pathetic policy just to suck us up dry...

Really hope what you said will be true. Just scrap this policy instead of scrapping cars. Besides, you think and see which ethnic group will suffer more from this whole policy. Think yourself, which group often likes to keep old cars or buy 2nd hand cars and also always modify old cars. Not being racist here.

Imagine, trying to sell 4A-GE, SR16VE, B16A and all that to transplant into cars like Vios, Almera and City...

Still have new performance cars with manual transmission and have good potential to be modded around the market like Mazda MPS, FD2R, Impreza GRB/GVB Version 10/11, Evo X, Megane RS, 370Z, 86/BRZ but the question is, how many of us can afford all that.

Mentioned ferrari and supercars because they can afford to mod and scrap the car after 10 years but usually those own DC5, subaru and etcs JDMs, mod and keep for a long time...

Ferrari and Lambo, how many really mod these monsters? Is already powerful enough in stock on malaysian roads..so JDM owners/fans will suffer most :frown:

conclusion car lovers and car enthusiasts will suffer...

Most Ferrari and Lambo owners are also not true car enthusiast. They are not really that technical about cars like most ZTH members here are. They are just rich people who have a lot of money so they spend it on some of these flashy looking cars to represent their upper class status. Want mod Ferrari also can, got companies like Novitec Rosso but the cost of modding these cars are also very very expensive.

They keep the car because it has soul and fun to drive compare to new cars which well are just cars.....back in the 90s where the Japan economy was good a lot of company came up with affordable performance cars which offer much better driving dynamics, power and fun to drive and that time most of the cars are beyond their time...so in today's cars...most are just A to B transportation with all the fun of driving out the window.

I believe a lot of enthusiast will have a very hard time parting with their 90s JDM nobody would want to trade in a fun car in exchange for a boring one. Now you want performance car, it's all high up in the price range...which not many can enjoy the real thrills of driving.

really miss back old days from 70s till 90s cars is like fun to drive all the feel is very raw to control this raw power we need to improve our skill to clock good lap time.
But now our car is full of electronic sensors and safety will out much of skill we still manage to clock good lap time now days more like car for dummy.

JPJ timbang had jangka hayat kenderaan - Nasional - Sinar Harian

complain or not, if they really want to they will implement it, they always have those random people who said to support their policy every times they conduct a research or survey to ask rakyat support them or not... they also have those pro:stupid: professional like in the link above to speak to support and say that according to their experience and research, this gov policy is good or what blablabla..........bullshit

then when u ppl still reject, then, the gov idiot representative shows up with brilliant idea like reduce sugar subsidy to overcome diabetes, increase electric bill cause increase in petrol price and whatever and can promote ppl to save energy, implement gst so everyone pay one tax instead of 2 and can rob the rich and give to the poor more, bitch please, i don't need pay taxes if i go normal coffeeshop to eat and buy at mudah.my, now according to the idiot representative statement, after implementation, online seller also must implement gst, for me, just another way to rob both the rich and poor to fill your own stomach and make the rich more rich make the poor more poor...

dont forget the current issue,kl guys, did your household taxes just raised ?

yeah....a professional that talk on a capacity of the goverment....for sure to mention the positive side of the policy to ensure it can fullfill the goverment need for money:puke:
