I'm not qualified to 'teach' but I'm sure I can share my mistakes and how NOT TO do things....hehehe...

DIT sounds good to me. Just had one two weekends ago but only did a motorbike. But we did had one hell of a time talking c*** and pissing about. The owner belanja lunch, which was more than generous enough of him.

Lesley, have u tried DIY on ur own car? Doesn't has to be major or jaw dropping works...DIY like washing with the correct method and products, claying or waxing, polishing, etc..
It's the first click that determine if u r into detailing or not. If u feel tired and stupid after all the DIY, then probably u r not into it. But if u feel damn tired but satisfied and would want to improve the next time u do it, well then, welcome to the poisoned family haha

Ya, can learn a lot of detailing from sifu vr2turbo. One of my ride need a fresh coat of paint too.
Most probably original paint.

Which is why is important to detail our car nicely to prevent respray :frown:

we would save alot of money detailing our own car...maybe must take up some lessons from sifu vr2turbo one day...
kc2 always busy so cannot kacau him.

Yup, once poisoned, will buy more stuffs, do more often, then upgrade to some machines....etc...etc...

I think u guys need a chill pill. Im not a very professional detailer to teach you guys detailing but I think if Mr. moderator, you have any dispute with them you should settle in private and not here.

Yup, as far as I know all different rate for different level of job....

You can either get a personal detailer who detail cars from ZTH or anywhere else, or just send to those detailing shops outside.

There are lot of detailing shops outside, just have to choose the right one if you intend to send it there. You will notice all shops different price.

Bear in mind if send to wrong shop, if your car no swirls marks, might end up having lots of swirls
due to the quality of rotary they use and the sponge that been use for far too many times for a few cars.

Even their microfibre cloth. Which is why lots would rather do themselves or send to a professional
detailer. Price wise surely higher than outside shop for some. But up to u to decide.

Like they say, what you pay is what you get. They will quote you according to your request or budget if have any.

TitanRev experience once before, sending his new car to a polish and Wax inside shopping centre,
end up so many swirls. Yet already sign up for package that can do few times. Didn't bother
going back there after that.
