I have built one wira 4wd trackday car. It is very very fun, good power, precise handling, easy to push but u need to spend extra on cooling n reliability mods. Otherwise its only gonna bring u frustration. 1 thing for sure, the initial build cost is not cheap though.
Below is what I did (some basic idea without going into details)
Wira shell (empty engine bay but already endorsed 2.0) RM4000
Evo2 halfcut RM11500
6 point bolt on cage RM500
Upah convert RM1000
Wear & Tear, consumables RM1500
4wd conversion RM4000
Coilovers
Brembo brake system all round RM3500 (inclusive installation, modifications etc)
Used rims RM800
Achilles ATR2 215/45/17 RM1000
With the above, u should have a setup with stock engine, 4wd, good brakes capable of late 2:40s.
For maximum reliability, make sure u rebuild the engine before any track action. Remember the engine is already 20 years old. Lots of parts are already due for changing even for road use. Once u have track-biased pads & tyres, more boost, ur looking at shaving ur laptime to mid-early 2:40s. With good training & confidence and more mods, 2:30s not impossible.
