Yes! forged parts are also breakable.
When the forged con-rod breaks, they are different from casted parts.
I m still waitting for my friends 3sgte Tom's forged con-rod to come back. He broke them with 2.6 bar. By then i can tell if the Toyota con-rod are forged or not.
I can tell that the Toyota pistons are not forged. Basically forged pistons are very strong material and they have very thick walls than the cast pistons have. The few basic chracteristic of a forged pistons is when you start the engine when it is cold, you will get alot of white smoke. It is because the expenditure rate of the forged pistons are very high and they also need alot of clearance on the cylinder for the forged pistons to expand when it is hot.
The second characteristic is when the engine is in high RPM or high boost, running very lean. The forged pistons will just melt away like a alluminium rather than cast pistons where they break into pieces.
That is all I can say for stock Toyota pistons.
