Yoz sifus...

Any idea 4d68 conrod stronger/bigger than 4g63 evo conrod?
I thought of using evo9 piston with 4d68 conrod and crank in rvr block. Target 4xxhp.
Ok kah?
I read from zth just now that the 4d68 piston pin is bigger than evo? How many mm?

Dear all,

Gotta know that diesel rod is way much thicker than vr4 rods, the prob is the rod is using 23mm pin. Anyone can advice whether bronze bushing is reliable or not? My pomen suggested bronze bushing which is belived by him to be better.

And about conrod weight, thicker rod means heavier, will it affect any power loss?
Thanks sifusss...

i got rough estimate of RM 10k for upgrade evo 7 engine to 2.2 stroker using 4d68 crank. at that price what kind of piston and rods, and workmanship, should I expect?. tolong bg tau.

i still prefer aftermarket branded stroker kit, its fully balanced and forged.

dependz too , currently OEM crank surpasses the most common aftermarket crank which is the Eagle crank, the eagle crank dropped in quality terribly , chamfer for the bearing to seat is wrongly done for most of the cranks and the balancing, oh my god , is out totally , try avoid Eagle

Other forged crank is only available by Manley but its 88 and 100mm
94mm is billet from manley , bc and other companies, no one offers forged as i know off

Hi Guys, sorry to bring this old thread up again but im planning to build a 2.3L Stroker motor with my spare Evo 5 engine.
Before i go further, im also planning to use a 2JZ-GTE 86mm pistons pairing with my current used BC I beam 150mm rods with 4G64 100mm Crank.

Thereby, would hope to get some advise on what adjustment need to be done in order for the 2JZ pistons and BC rods to meet the correct deck height?
Please do also share the experience machine shop contact for doing the 2JZ piston and rod.

Thanks A Million.
