Upgrading ICE.. need advice!

MY current setup consist of

Amp: Sony XM-2100GTX http://www.sony.com.my/sonystyle/product/productinfo_xplod.asp?Subcategoryid=73
Woofers: 2 x 10" Kenwood.. dunno wat model..

aniwayz, I m currently planing to upgrade my front component and add in a 4ch amp (hoping for future upgrades).. with my budget of like 1k-1.5k.. my prefered choice of music are like House, trance and RnB.. and i m not keen in getting 2nd products =D

suggestion on amps n component pleasE? i m driving a vios

thanks for the answer, my friend just bought me a alpine type r component with alpine f345 amp.. now the installation thingy.. how long should the rca cable be.. some shops told me 4metre some say 2metre..

besides that, how much does a rca cable cost? one of the shops qoute me a 2m rca cable for 45 bucks, a pair for 90 bucks.. is that reasonable.. sorry very noob

if u havent done this b4 i suggest u get it installed in a proper shop or else u might destroy your sound, or your ept, or worse the whole car.

rca length depends where u want to install la, under seat or in the boot. if boot u need 4m or 5m, if under seat 2m or 3m. u will also need power cables, ground cables, remote wire and speaker cables.

hmph okie... i went to this shop.. charge me 100 bucks for both amp n component installation.. rca cables 2m x 2 for 90 bucks and they say need 50 feet of speaker cables.. do u really need that long aR?

u can ask him to show u how he will run the speaker wire, then u can roughly calculate yourself...
