ninja,
currently driving a stock civic and not sure if you're able to help me on this. everytime i go over a slightly high bump, my car scrapes against the bump and with 2 or 3 person on board, i can't escape any damn bump in malaysia without scraping it. the thing is my car is stock without any mods on suspention/springs and so on. was thinking of getting a 'taller' spring but it'll just change the handling completely. also, i'm just thinking that scraping might not just be a spring problem, it could be the absorber is way too soft. what do you think??

besides, i'm quite satisfied with the confortability and handling of my stock car as i'm not so much of a speed freak. will installing titan help ease the scraping problem and maintains the comfot level of my car. please advise. thanks and regards.

hi prodigy,

sounds like your springs are totally sagged or what them techies call it, fatigued. The metal spring material does have a life-span ya know.

usually about 200,000 life cycles, and of course old cars, the springs are gone liaw.

oh man
which civic is this?
EF? EG? Ek?

ninja, thanks for your prompt reply. i'm driving a 99 EK civic but i'm quite doubtful the springs KO so fast. mileage only 87K but it does sickened me alot to hear that krrakkkk sound everytime i go over a bump. with 3-4 person onboard, tears are rolling down my cheeks already(just exxagerating). anyway, back to the question, how do i solve this problem? suspension problem or spring problem? btw, its a 2nd hand car when i took over.

stanly is the price you stated include installation?

wait for me yah coming for titan after CNY.
