I have been hearing much about this bushes available in market but all comment is from 3rd party mouth, some say very stiff some say ok some say very durable some say not worth it

Anyone used or with Super Pro PU bushes now or anything alike ? mind to share ?

if u gonna change the PU bushings, must well go for super pro, cos if u go
for immitation, after used for couple of months then koyak....need to fork out $$$ for workmanship
again...is it worth it?

issit ??? !!! shicks .... my ride the front arm (straight) always kacau la ... so easily spoilt one !!! i thought of SuperPro ... more durable

there is super pro for perdana.....check around sunway area.

another option is to go for custom bushings...

theres a forumer in the market place with the nick besixteen who does soft pu bushings... ive done my rear lower control arm bushings with him and its been over a year n still looks good... he uses it on his own car and says its been there for about 5 years now..

Super Pro is expensive but if money is not a concern no problem. I'm using generic polyurethane (PU) as well as polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) bushes in another car. All work perfectly fine for so many years. Who say it is firm? Just marginal, but it lasts longer.

madman : sorry noob here ... the custom bushing means they custom your bushing following your preference(softness) ?

YYC: A lot longer or just longer only ? hahahaha how much and where u did ?

The lower arms PU bushes lasts longer than the lower arms. It was a mix of different brands of inner bush and center bush. Naco and Pedder. I don't know what just leave it to my friend to get it done.. Actually cost me RM260 for all these.

PTFE the so called Teflon I used for ARB bushing. Got it from a SICian
used in my Iswara, RM60 includes installation. Very good performance, quiet.

Ive use super pro bushes on my front lower arms, it seems to be a better option than going for halfcuts, and i could not tell the big difference if it was more stiffer cause i was already using a hard setup on adjustables.

i just changed mine to nylon.. so far no problem only feeling the steering a bit firm and when after you turn the steering and let go, the steering will go back to it's position very fast.. but harsh or not the ride i can't feel it neither because i'm on hard setup already

Check the Sepang Lap time thread. Interesting remark by someone involved in vehicle dynamics for Proton's R3 regarding PU bushes. Simply said, it's not as effective as you might think.
