Slow page loading!

dunno if this is the right section to post this topic...
i think the background for this forum is too fancyful.
its slow in loading a new page.
maybe shud just use a plain background instead, which i think is more practical.
i might be wrong.
but other forums are much faster when loading a new page.
any comments from experts?

yes, but unintentionally.
coz the page didnt load up after sometime.
then i stopped it thinking that it didnt go thru.
then reposted in enquiries.
sorry bout that.
but didnt know i have to explain it here...though

is it your 1st time viewing the forum with new layout ?

if yes, then the page will load faster the next time you visits when browser cached the graphics.

if no, perhaps your cache setting is off.

I wouldn't categorize this as network/hardware issue as I see this as an isolated case.
