Have lots of fun, which I did...I am into the DIY mods on the Neo now..kinda like poison. Once you jump into it, it gets to you and there goes the weekends.

Yes yes I am having so much fun, as apposed to 5 years driving a '96 1.6 Satria Auto which got me bored to death of plus the high maintenance bcoz it's such an old car.

I am looking into adding a top strut for the front... Ultra racing seems to be pretty decent. Btw... I noticed that in 3rd gear the CPS engine has a tiny tiny hiccup around 3k rpm on the way to 4.5k rpm. Does anyone know why and is this normal kah?

Owh and one more..... the keyhole is suppose to have a light kan?

Yap same as mine...3rd hiccup gone...but 2nd gear got major hiccup....check wit T.A from Center of Excellence for few times....they still duno wat happen!!! I think this can't b solve...

Iya, u so lucky no rattling sound....my rattling sound makes me so damn piss off.....

The previous UR strut for normal neo not fit in CPS coz the air filter hose too big. Apparently they need to custom made one which already in my neo cps now...

Rattling sound I had too...mine is the plastic cover below the steering. I insulates the metal areas with rubber padding..solved it.

Now my driver side panel rattling when the speaker bass thumps...hai kena take out and look for the source...

Hmmm. I will consider but going back and forth to the Service Center to get your problem is hectic thing to do. We are buying a brand new car and we have to resolve the problem by ourselves. This is more like getting a used car with problems that you know and you gonna get fix in order to have a smoother ride.

My both side panel rattling too when bass thumps....besides tht all my sound coming out from dashboard.....no idea how to dismantle the dashboardh hahaha

call 1300-880-888 Proton I-care centre, and voice out all your frustration to them...i believe by informing them yr frustration will trigger them to improve.....and also counter measures will be made of all these concerns and complaints......my friend did and someone attended to all his concerns and now he is a happy owner of neo cps.....good luck guyz!

My friends Neo had a tapping noise in the engine at certain speeds...goes away after awhile. He went back to Proton numerous times but couldnt detect the problem so he lived with it.

Mine was a squeeky sound from the passenger seat. I took the whole thing out, tightened screws sprayed lube...went away for awhile and nows its back...hai.

his car cant accelerate smoothly at certain rpm, according to him, the svc ctr guy erased some setting using pdt and then reset back by clearing all the error code etc..i not very sure...now its smooth.....and also bout the passender seat sound....at the back seat i mean, he uses a black loytape and stick on to the hook then when he fix back the seat..the sound is gone.......

I think its quite normal to have sounds in protons...just have to pinpoint where and consolidate the issue.

Need to get some sound dampening material for the doors.
