Hi guys
I'm not in Malaysia at the moment but just got a limited edition RSM D1 installed to the already fitted SAFC in the car, but the problem is the rpm has no reading at all.
As far as I am concerned, the rpm signal for SAFC is the green wire and the rpm signal for the RSM is the yellow wire. According to my brother, the mechanic had wired/joint them together sharing the same rpm signal wire from the ecu but it does not show any reading at all for the RSM.
Everything works fine, the SAFC is working fine all this while (rpm reading present) and all other readings for the RSM is available, except for the rpm signal reading at RSM which stays at "0" no matter how you rev the engine.
Should there be any fault with the RSM it wouldn't have worked and anything else shouldnt have showed. Numbers of cylinders had been set and etc, mechanic even tried to disconnect the SAFC's rpm wire feed to make way for the RSM but still wouldn't work.
Anyone has any similar experience and would like to share? It will be greatly appreciated, but all I doubting right now is how should you join the two wires together, is there any ways such as gapping between the two wires?
thanks
