MY RSM NEED HELP~ pro come !

i have a question is ..currentlu ..
i have installed a RSM in my car ..and when im on IDling my rsm can go to 4-11k rev on it on self while my car is not movin ..
and the Speedo meter that i running on KMPH and the RSM is not moving ..
i have fix the RSM on Sunway AMoil ..but they said is my wiring problem..im using VR4 engine with original ECU ..double check of Wiring connect to rsm..and there is not cut off and etc..

what the meaning of Output Select in RSM SP1 ?
what is Sp0 / R?o... i dont know what make zero mean at the back
Sp1 mean what ?
what the initiazilze for ?
do my rsm reading tacho got problem ?
how to do the setting for my wira vr4 ori ecu vr4 ?
how come my speedo not working ?
is there any professional that can do ?
1st day 1st technician of amoil said ..my rsm Tacho reading IC gor reading problem ? got such thing ?
2nd day they said should be my Car Wiring problem...
before ensure the problem.. i dont go for wiring checking except some pro can really tell me that is ~ =D

1. MOst probally you have wrong cylinder setting in your RSM. If i remember correctly, it allow u to set between 1-16 Cylinders (VR-4 is 4 Cyclinder)

2. Speedo on RSM not running mostly due to wrong tapping...there is TWO speedo input to RSM, one from ECU (speedo pin) another from your analogue speedmeter sensor

The RSM setting u can refer to your user manual same goes to wiring, they provide wiring diagram as well. Else PDF is available to download on net.

each time i open my car it sure show 6 cyl im on it ..what is the SP1 for ?the 2nd select?
and about wiring im not sure.. but i know amoil is a pro there..but they can't give me the answer?

i think u "press" the initialized..

dont press that ..

it will reset back ur factory settings.

let say u got "SHIFT LIGHT" .. u can set ur RPM rsm to blink when reach its RPM.. then the shift light will ON

same also goes to SPo or etc2.. that one is for SPEED. it will set to blink at any speed u want

let say .. i set RPM to blink at 4800. it will blink when reach 4800RPM
and also SPEED .. i set to 90KMH .. it will blink when reach 90KMH

how do you tap the speed reading from the analogue meter?
some vr4 do not have speed reading output from the ECU.

6 cylinder is for V6 car la..or Inline 6 car la..VR4 is inline 4 only...

i know is 4 cyclinder la.. bro..is 4G63T ma.. but the problem how come out put no speed after double checking from the junior and the expert from amoil Sunway ..~ haihz..and my RPM is jerk..500-100 rpm sharp ..same as tacho and tacho meter 5" and 2k from tacho..rpm show 1k .. i rev to 5k .. or i drive to 5k ..rpm show 2-2.5k only. from rsm this is fay la~

how do you tap the speed reading from the analogue meter?
some vr4 do not have speed reading output from the ECU.

true true... even some Tacho meter can't provide an accurate reading on VR4.

Has anyone successfully installed an RSM into your proton vr4 and its fully functional and accurate? :X-: Need to know where to tap the speed output reading :X-:

i have SETTLED!!

i have alreayd settle THE RSM on Proton VR4..
the problem is not from the ECU output from the AnaloG of the meter
ITs self from AMOiL they are noobie wiring ..lol..even make mistaken on the wiring of RPM ..mistaken plug on and they double check telling me my wiring problem stupid !

after i have bring To next N1 RAcing beside the shop name call Excoll Auto ..
they do wiring professional ..from Ah fai from Vios club ..Thanks to him to share his experience to bring me there

they do RPM wiring accurately and The analog there..they add up a Kilometer Sensor..so can use RSM speedo and RSM ReV ..nicely..
