PS2?? XBOX??

If you don't have a PSone.
Then your decision should be based on what games you wanna play and not what we think ;)

There are people who are Mario crazy and would buy an N64 just to play Mario Sunshine.

Xbox killer app is of course Halo and the upcoming Halo²

PS2 has too many great games but remember that its the most popular of the 3 and most great game companies like Konami, Takara, etc. especially those who don't make consoles anymore like Sega and Atari will target a console game for this machine first.

Graphics on both machines are quite different. The graphics of the Xbox has a very PC look to it, while the PS2 graphics has more of an high-end arcade machine graphics.

mosly X-box game...PS2 also available...
of cz price PS2 is more cheaper...
up to you to decide what game you acc want...

if ur into graphics den XBox wuld be the first choice but if ur looking forward for more new and famous games den i wuld say PS2..though the graphics cant compare wif XBox but i think it is more than enuf for me..another thing, u get to play alot of various games cus more ppl own PS2 than XBox..but as i know, XBox is coming up in the market..

another alternative ways are to get PS3 , (isit launch yet or jus a rumours around) not veri sure on this, or get PSP (smaller and look cool)

as for the games price sure XBox is slightly expensive than PS games..
so far i still think that Ps is the best among all..tonnes of games and reasonable price too..imagine ur frens are toking about ps games while ur the oni one toking about XBox wen not even one of them heard of it or play it b4, so it is considered as a lonely gamer..hahah..

i have both of them.. and i love x box because of the plug and play networking if you have broadband( got to subscribe first ) but no regrets... you get so much more in halo, halo2, gotham racing 1 and 2.... the graphics are more better then PS2 i think... I also like Ps 2.... lots of game choice and love GT 1,2,3 and 4....
but when i compare the graphic for NFSU2 PS2 and Xbox.. i am sorry to say that Xbox looks way more better and the image is sharper and has a better effect.... this is what i think... maybe someone else got another perspective.... :)

btw i heard from William ( the fella in Lim Kok Wing college food fella) said dt gotham racing is nice..worth of playing..hehe..and ive asked b4 that XBoxs controller got built in memory card..so if go frens hs can bring the controller itsef oni..cool..

Get ps2 if you want to have more games to play. Alot of good games only made for PS2 some are not available on PC. XBOX is a powerful PC actually. same system as our normal PC (x86 system). XBox has less games of course, but you sure have better graphic because of the system built. it is more expandable and extensible. For example if you are pro in x86 system, XBOX actually can boot up using linux OS not the original XBox OS. other that that XBOX can play alot of other non-XBOX game such as arcade game, metal slug, KOF (neogeo) using emulator. But console just for playing, myself also got a PS2, but i still play PC game more than ps2 ehehe.

[/b][/quote] one thing x box is good.. you can save songs in it;s internal hard drive... and no need memory card.. cause can save in the hard drive... although more expensive but thinks of it you can save more in the long run... in those memory card.

buy both la... but if only want to buy 1.. better go for ps2... bcoz u live in malaysia.. if u live in usa, i will tell u xbox is the best...

buy an xbox. there's lots of ways you can enjoy it.. for example, my bro use it for games, and i use it to stream downloaded animes from my pc to the xbox, for viewing on our 42" plasma.

XBOX is a powerful PC..? it is using less than a gigahertz Celeron Processor and Geforce 2 Ti .....and compare with our current PC specs.... :rolleyes:
