Take back. When the time I collect the car for my friend, the things not given was the only things not given was the air filter. And disc brakes not included. Endorsement of engine not done. But ap paper given once issued.

But I think the exhaust they use evo downpipe sambung back to the exhaust system.

so when is your turn to convert your engine? ")

But I've used evo3 in my satria before. The acceleration is sweet... But the heel n toe have to be nicely done on corners. Cause if the boost kicks in before the apex point of the corner.... Will over steer a little.

evo3 is it? my mech also offer me rm10k, full complete.....

Bro, I plan to get a Perdana with Evo 3 Engine too. Please advise for the following..

1) Which year Perdana is more suitable for the convertion? In terms of long lasting of the body too. (as i gonna get used car for the project)

2) I got a Quote from my friend said that a garage can do this with the price of RM30k-40k, Car + Convertion + JPJ endorse. Is it reasonable? Maybe using 2002 V6 model.

3) What else that need to be extra care before and after the convertion? ie, do we need to overhaul the engine before installation? What other parts that required to be fixed into the car in order for the car to be completely & plz advise for the maintenance too.

Thanks!!!

Cheers!!!

**year 95-99 sei model, cos mounting dont need modifications.

>> 99 SEI model is about 11 yrs now, would it be still strong enough, and lasting? As compare to those newer version.

>> Around how much for the overhaul? Do the normal mechanic can complete this task without any hands on problem?? What are those parts that might get changed ie like gasket, ring?
>> How about maintenance wise?:driver:

Thanks!!!

Thanks!!!!

Everything complete. Except they didn't give me the air filter and the exhaust system after the nenas pipe. Other's all complete including 4 new mountings and timing belt n water pump belt included.

That was my friend's car actually... If i have a perdana also i'll convert... Rather than keep solving the GB problem...

Bro, what about the drive shaft..? was there any issue..? did u managed to use stock evo shaft or did u have to modify it..? i heard someone mentioning before that the length might be an issue. that it wasnt a perfect fit. how was urs..?
