Haha.. the most cheapskate mod you'll ever see.. Just some photoes of aftereffects of playing/experimenting with a spray gun, due to suffering from peeling caliper paint syndrome. My peeling off the soundproofing DIY is still in the works.. time limited.
This is not actually a mod, I got hold of a spray gun, and wanted something to test on, so I chose the calipers, since they were pretty much discoloured of peeled off.
Did this quite a while back maybe back in December or late november.. but since nothing new to post... here goes.
Before
After (Daytime)
After (Nightime).. no, they're not matte... it's the result of custom paint mix test of randomness :P
Wish I could do like some US modders doing pearlescent colours on those stock calipers. This is actually a failed experiment.
Looks like stock during the day, not so in the night.
And yes, you shouldn't do this with the calipers on the car... You'd ruin the rubber parts if you spray on them.. esp. if you spray them thick.
I also know this is a ricey mod.. but just couldn't resist playing with the spray gun. :P
