:o...Oh confirm. Where's the 02 sensor for SGTi located ? Why Wira 1.8/ Putra dun have? Good or bad ?

From what I know your 4G93 engine is the first generation of 4G93 for Proton and it is the more powerful version compared to the later 4G93 installed in Proton.

More power but bad in terms of emission control maybe that is why Proton changed to a lesser power, more eco friendly engine in the later version.

So your version has no catalytic converter and no O2 sensor.

Bro.. How about 4G93T GSR? do they hav such sensor also?

All EFI cars have O2 sensors. They are installed somewhere along the extractor or at the collector. On turbo engines, it is located on the downpipe. It looks something like a spark plug with either 1,2,3,4 or 5 wires mating to a connector.

What RSI said is true, an O2 sensor looks like a spark plug attached to the exhaust pipe.

You find one on your exhaust pipe, well that is your O2 sensor.

But not all EFI engine has O2 sensor, I am quite sure my Putra engine does not have an O2 sensor.

The older Protons are the only EFI cars known not to have o2 sensors. Normally O2 sensors are excluded from countries where ppl sometimes pump leaded fuel. I.e. Malaysia 10 years back and Indonesia (still)
