O2 Sensor voltage

i just wan to know how to make an o2 sensor to my apexi pen type turbo timer?
what i know of my car is using o2 ajester,so i ask same of the ppl they say can make,but how?
cos my ECU don't have that.
so i need your brother help!!
my engine is putra year 1997 wan...

I hav a question with o2 sensor, during idling does the o2 sensor voltage cycling back and forth between 0.1 to 0.9V?? pls note that i'm talking on a/f ratio. Mine problem is the o2 sensor voltage doesn't going back and forth and just stay at 0.07v during idling but does during cruising. Izzit due to a faulty O2 sensor?? Hope u guys out there can help me.

Some info on my ride...GSR 1.8litre turbo. Everything under the hood is stock, the only change was the adjustable fuel regulator with 50psi of fuel pressure.

when i floor it....or even just merely acc with >35% throttle , it already shows a stable rich condition...

so if i've not mistaken your words, close loop is the most efficient in fuel,,,am i right..

hello guys , need help bout o2 sensor , recently i found out there a sensor hanging under my engine bay , so i jack my car and found out its a o2 sensor
, i tried to connect it back but cant find any wire to socket it back , iam using 4g93 putra year 02 , how ??

well actually if ur for racing purpose then i doubt u need the o2 sensor, just one questions guyz? wat if the os sensors are located after the cat? just wondering, would it work as accurate as having it on the header?

you might have to wait a while before the ecu goes into closed loop at idle.....mine takes about 10-15sec

No...it didn't cycle back and forth even i'm stuck in the traffic jam...:sad_smile:

newer ecus may have super lean idle mode. like some hondas which idles at 17:1 a/f ratio. or the toyota 4age which is quite 'untunable' cos its already very highly tuned from the factory, unless you have done a lot of mods like oversize pistons, stroker crank, porting, etc....

most prolly ur ecu sense 0 speed, 0 tps, low MAP, and trigger idle lean mode. i dunno. but u can be sure ur a/f meter isnt lying to you....its telling u exactly whats the ecu doing.....

my problem already solved, everything back to normal..voltages cycle back and forth during idling.. it was due to leakage at intake manifold, gasket broken.:regular_smile:

helo ....i want to ask somthing....
my car is handa jazz,it come with original o2 sensor 4 wire,i have install auto meter a/f meter,question is
1:why when i run on the road,the meter always run red to a green,always left to right?
2:i set with VAFC 2,i have negative the correction ,why still got 2 and 3 green led come out ??
3:autometer a/f meter accurate or not (i using original o2 sensor 4 wire)??

i have read first page and 2nd page,coz english poor,not too understand...pls all know about o2 bro consultation
