I am new here.. Just would like to know more about Altezza...Hope to get help and advice from good sifoo... :)

Yup.. I just own an Altezza... Tune by Tom's... So.. need to know more on this car.. where to get spare parts.. service centre.... Any recommendation?

ya, i know there is Tom's completed tuned altezza in town for sale perviously, but i am just not sure is tht the one IS200 owned....
tht definitely a fast ride man..

Yup.. The white tom's car with TOM's bodykit... and whatever you want to name it... I do have some minor problem with that car... The engine tuning is very low I guess.. Sometimes the RPM is high and sometimes it is low when the car comes to a complete stop with the engine still running. Do you guys know why? And an idea where can I get this fix besides TOM's Bangsar?

the "problem" is due to racing cam kot?????

I think we all who drive Altezza really cool man, we all are different in such ways...
haha... anyone know others then TOM's modifier, who can upgrade altezza...

Thought of putting super charger into my car...

hi all, i new here. Glad to finally found a malaysian tezza forum. IS200, my car use to has the same problem that you are countering now. Does ya car feel shaky when it hits low rpm? I believe it should be the 'throttle body' that is dirty. All u need to do is have it's head clean. I've got mine clean over the weekend somewhere near sunway and the problem is solved. quiet engine ever since.. :). Hope this help.

yup..my throttle sensor short-circuited once too due to some stupid @ss accessory shop workers..had to tow the car..what an experience:shades_smile:

i suspect my idling problem is also due to the faulty tps or the little screw inside. Bro, could you please tell us the place where you got ur tb fixed? How much does it cost?

as far as i am concerned, there are 2 big players in klang valley when it comes to altezza; Tom's and Trial.

as for me and few other kakis, we send our car to Trial as they have expertise in japanese cars and all and they source the parts from Wing Hing directly.

Trial is actually a japanese tuning shop and the malaysia owner used to work with them in Japan and Taiwan (william, corrcet me if im wrong ... hahahaha).

gimme a call at 013 - 224 2625 if u wanna know more about Trial and in fact i will be going to the shop this saturday to change my o2 sensor and clean my throttle body.

Poro ... come and have yam cha with us this saturday.

Alternatively, u can also send ur car for service/major repairs to HS Auto (Hup Sheng) in Salak South. They only do Lexus , BMWs, Merc and Jaguars

I know at least 4 altezzas who send their cars regularly to this shop, including mine.

Very good in trouble shooting,price is reasonable, depending on the type of problem ur car has. PM me for their number

thanx for the info sifus. anyway, sent my car to vision watsiscal in bangsar today. got some minor problem with the car and vision was the nearest to my home. did some diagnostic and cleaned up the TB. everything is good now :regular_smile:

met an indian altezza owner who offered me to muy my altezza. hehehe. anybody from here? forgot his name. slim and tall build.

boss! issit a good or a bad thing? i'v never had anyone offer to buy my car before until i got an altezza :regular_smile: . maybe the sexy/macho appeal of the altezza made people do that. haha.
