ello bros.. plz help. i need some info.. The problem is there is a knocking sound after i hv done top overhaul on my 4AFE engine.. The sound was clearly heard when the engine is idling. The mech said it is valve sound and it is normal.. He said the sound will gone after a week. It is true? I think there is something wrong and it hv been 3 days and there is no sign the sound will be gone. :confused_smile:

Engine knocking sound must be refered back to the mechanic whom serviced your car recently (the place u top overhauled).

Dont drive for a long period as it can cause more problem.

Start ure car and go see him now .. :)

of course i'll see him, but after a week.. he promise me will do it for free if there is a problem. rpm felt heavy when reaching 5000. anyone hv experienced it? need info here..
