I'm owning a Toyota LE 8V model. My question is it possible to fit / install Toyota 12V model's head only instead of changing a whole engine ?

I checked with my mech, he said possible but hv to search for engine 'lantai'. However he said nvr done such transplant for LE's before. Thus he is not 100% sure.

He had done such transplant for proton saga's.


Need sifu's advise on this. If it possible, what are the other parts I should source to make it complete/ problem free.

why change the head only...??

and from your words sorry to say that...your mech doesnt seems to know or sure what his doing...better get a second opinion from a mech who have experience similar to your engine before you do anything...
