BlackSamurai,
no worries mate...this is all a legal process with proper documents and stuff. nothing to hide ;)

Bro jusy want to ask, how much did they charge for runner to approve my car from 1.6 Waja (A) to 2.0 Mivec FTO engine (M) .

I had already paid a deposit of RM500 to book the engine after it had check by my mechanic. Then i seek for runner but eventually they said,

"Macam ini ah.. sekarang approval kena dapat dari putrajaya, tak macam dulu. Saya kena pergi balok , petrol pun tak kurang. Macam inilah u bagi saya RM1700 saya kau tim everytihing sama you ok. RM1700????? IS it true?????

Confuse

helo ..

just wondering here.. is it true if we swap the engine with the same cc (e.g. 1.6 D16Y Sohc Vtec to 1.6 B16a Dohc Vtec) no need to go to bring ur car to puspakom n just need to register with jpj? thank you

Max,
RM1.7k is cheap but I'm not sure if the runner really do for u or not. A lot of them are giving you fake chop on your car gerant. And you will face problem renewing roadtax. PM me for more details.

CiVIkX,
That is the old rule. Now any conversion will have to go for inspection. Those without inspection are very risky.
