hi, currently i'm using 195/50/15 tyre, and consider to change to 195/60/15. so what is the advancetages / disadvancetages in before and afther. thx.

Advantages:
-makes ur Tire look bigger..covers the wheel arch
-the ride would be comfortable..
Disadvantage..:
--the handling would suffer but u may not notice it..
The lower aspect ratio responds to lateral force more effectively than a tyre with a higher aspect ratio. The aspect ratio affects steering stability. Generally, the shorter the sidewall, or the lower the aspect ratio, the less time it takes to transmit the steering input from the wheel to the tread. The result is quicker steering response.

Aspect ratio also affects the tread contact patch. As a rule, a low profile tyre produces a wider tread contact patch. This wider tread contact patch creates a stiffer footprint that reduces distortion and provides improved cornering traction. Aspect ratio also impacts ride. A low profile tyre usually has a stiffer ride than the standard aspect ratio of 75 or more.

Thanks for the info, but how about fc and power performance?

fuu yoh... ehaab bro.. nice info dude... kudos to ya...

FC and performance, i should say not much difference. The change in the FC and performance (going straight only) would be insignificant for normal daily drives.

the debate between bigger rims vs smaller rims on FC and power performance.........
hhhmmm.....the myth that smaller rims would give you more FC and better power..... but I disagree!

it all depends on how u drive. U wouldn't notice the FC and power performance that much; unless that is u changed from 13" to 18" rims lar....
But all in all; the way u drive would determine your FC.

So to me, your's is a simple debate...u want more comfort, go for 60. want looks, go for 50.

try maintain the overall diameter of the wheel with the stock oem rim+tyres width.... thus, u dont need to recalibrate ur speedometer....
