Main question: Wats the different between an active sub and a passive sub?

I using 1 tube 10" passive type placed behind passenger seat...my wife got shorter legs..hehe.

Active sub = Sub with built in amplifier.Just use RCA plug kowtim.more expensive for cost of amplifier

Don't wan to go 10"... too big lah.

I still got some suspension issue not solved yet. Still got knocking some coming out from the arms when going over rough roads. But its already been better after then ball joints change.

Aeroz: RM180/pc. Go for it. Cheaper then mine.

[/b][/quote] Ooooo! My car has some quite audible knocking sounds in front to which I hope by the mech's suggestion of replacing the ball joints, will dissappear. I noticed that when I remove my front tyre, the noise's gone down a little bit. Like the extra weight/stiffness adds to the load and noise. Anyway, also been told by some sifoos that it might be the tierods and lower arm as well. Will go for the RM180 one since it's OEM. Btw mic, i'm talking about 16" 225 la hehehehe. Currently looking for 17" rims. It's easier to find used/worn 17" for drifting hehe.

16" 225 price is almost the same as 17" 225. Can be more expensive also for sizes less than 225/50/16 and harder to find. 225/55/16 is plenty.

BTW...a little birdy told me there was a maroon colored MR2 drifting at Sunway Extreme Park.I wonder who......?Hehe ;)


The knocking sound can also come from the Shock Absorber Pillow Mount (if you're using adjustables) and the rose joints from the anti-roll ball.
Worn out anti-roll rubbers will also give u knocking sounds..
