just got a GTI inherited from my bradder. stock condition.. planning to do some light mods like airfilter & exhaust system.. i have some questions I hope GTI fellas can share some experience :D
if i change the airfilter to K&N do I need to use an adapter? seen the Hotbits injection kit but i think it is kinda pricey. Btw what does the kit consists of? how to install the K&N filter, just remove the stock air box? btw if I use drop-in filter do I need to use a heat shield?
for the exhaust, i would like to retain the GTI's characteristics by using dual mufflers, left and right like the original one.. where can I get this type? something like P&P or must custom made? wat brand? piping 2" is OK? (thinking road legal here).. and not too loud :D
seen the hotbits exhaust package. looks very interesting but it only comes with one muffler tip.
for the rims, is it ok for me to change to 15"? will it compromise the ride & handling? better pickup & cheaper rims and tyres!
