mitsubishi side mirrors

hi ppl...was wondering if u cld help me..i was asked dis question by 1 gd fren of mind..n since im using it s well it made me think hehe...

s u know some (if x all) proton wira,satria users change their side mirrors to those flip ones from mitsubishi..n from my 2 cents its prone 2 "breakdowns" e.g x flip, x adjust d mirrors etc etc

my question wld b:

instead of REPLACING/CHANGING/BUYING a "new" set, is there any other way to fix d problem?i mean is there someone out there who knows how 2 fix dis problem?if YES how much wld it cost (of coz a rough estimate/approx) or maybe offer instructions s 2 DIY?etc

ermmm maybe dis topic has been discussed b4 (if YES im truly sorry 4 bringing it up again..)

im not sure la bro....maybe it could be fixed, but must as well buy another 2nd hand unit
cos the price may not differ much...& less hassle, if wanna repair, kena bukak, hantar repair, when ok, pasang balik, test, if not ok, proceed to step 1....

if get 2nd hand unit, trus pasang, normally should be ok la....

thnx bro danz...yeah i know its more easier n less hassle but just 4 info sake la...read somewhere i think in motor trader or sumthin..got someone who 'specializes' in repairing mitsu side mirrors..just wondering thot of DIY myself..
