hi everyone, im kinda new in mazda/ford forum... :)


would like to ask whats the market value for this caR?

i saw in the Star the price is between 23++-30++...depends on the year.


how do u guys think abt the car? im looking for one...

kinda hard to find actually (ehem..with the right bargain). i might be going for its cousin, the telstar v6 if so hard to find. both are almost the same, except foor the exterior.


any comments?

from what I know, get the newer model as they have rectify the bug in the older model. maybe others can comment.

Yes .. even a '93 Mazda 626 is quoted around RM32k .. and loan around RM21k on a good running unit ;)

Its a family car .. and rare u find it .. anyway u planned to put big engine? .. its very good chassis buddy .. nice choice

been searching for the car quite for awhile actually. a friend bought one. 2 other friends bought the telstar version. *tempting*

hi wod,

compared to the telstar, 626 v6 are very rare in the market especially the late models (94 onwards). Market value is pretty much as per what you've indicated. The only difference - the ford versions from the same year are usually priced lower than the mazda.

While mazda 626 (93-97) only comes in V6 form, the Ford cousins appear in two variants V6 and DOHC 16 valve.

If you are looking for some economy ride, suggest you have a look the Telstar 2.0 DOHC 16v. pricing would be a little higher as this model much more in demand compared to the V6.

The V6 is a good car, powerful and smooth engine but proves to be quite a guzzler if you drive with heavy foot of course.
