if using matspeed camshaft on 4G93 NA,
do i need to use adjustable cam puley and safc
to stable the idling? how much it cost to put
these camshaft on 4g93 NA?

Idling depends on the cams profile that you choose. The higher the unstable it will be. Adj cam pulley can helps to stablize the idling BUT the peak power might loss a bit. You will have to trade with that. Safc is a min requirement in order for you to get the real power. Without piggyback to reset the cams, you won't get the best from your investment.

But remember, using a big cam meaning you must also have port & polish, intake and exhaust upgrade & the suitable compression ratio, if not, the real power of the big cams will not be achieved. All the components must work in harmony, then only you'll get 100% performance. Good luck.

You dyno your car first than give him the AFR graph. Much easier than using wide band. But for those who has the experince of on the road tuning, dyno sheet is not necessary.

Not necessary J5, other brand like e-manage also good. J5 cost RM1.1k.

This i have'nt heard of before.. if got, respect!! coz i think its harder to produce a VTEC or even MIVEC cam for that fact, coz theres 2 sets of lobes to consider...

Charlie started his business selling Honda cams but because of the Sunway people business get screwed up, they boikot and spread out bad news about Matspeed product.Why? Because it's proven on dyno that charlie's b18c cams had generated 10WHP more than toda type c or Jun type 3. That is why Charlie is now concentrating on Proton cars only.Only few people knows about this fact.

Yes, if anybody wants, he can produce it for you guys. It just he did not advertise it.

i dunno man...... but logically....

If you could produce a cam that would generate 10 hp more that a toda or JUN cam, i repeat.. TODA and JUN cam...!! would'nt it be easy to convince an investor to pour in money to manufacture and promote the cams...?? Matspeed cams would be all over honda tuning on sale side by side with toda and JUN......

And, sunway is just a small market... if the honda cams produced are that good... we're talking about the global market here dude... forget sunway...

Anyway, if a local guy can produce parts that is better than the ones imported from Japang, Amerikanskie etc ( and dun forget reliability - wise too.. very important, dun wnat cams breaking every year or so, mati la mau replace.. :) ) I'm all up for it!!! Any proven results etc? Frankly speaking, never heard Matspeed have cams for Honda, always for Plotong's...eh, Proton... :)
