 what are diff between MAP sensor and MAF sensor???

pls inform me as soon as possible??coz i wanna put r-fit into my car..:X-:

MAP = air pressure sensor. u can find in mivec engine.
MAF = air flow meter sensor, most of the mit engine are come with this setting.

Working function basically are same, all are in function measure air . And both of them are come with different wiring , due to socket connection and unit reading are different.

MAP sensor is a sensor that uses the absolute pressure at the intake manifold as an input so that ur fuel would be output accordingly.. this is normally more accurate because the pressure right inside the manifold seldom drops much b4 it reaches the CC...

MAF sensor is an air flow sensor which means it detects the flow rate of air going into the engine normally after the air filter... as there are more bends b4 actually reaching the CC there is a lost in flow rate, which in fluids we call head lost... there for is less accurate and for blow off cars.. some times its visible that after u release the accelator the car suddenly will run to rich... this is one of the bad point of MAF sensors...

*CC = combustion chamber

thanks for giving me some info's...r-fit is a fuel management from blitz.more better than safc 2,coz it has 16point fuel correction..it also have 3 channel or 3 configuration..which is

1)pass=using std ecu fuel configuration
2)ch-1=u can make ur own spec such as street racing(16 point fuel mixture to config)
3)ch-2=drag racing spec....(16point fuel mixture to config.)

mostly nissan engine and my engine ma09ert(superturbo) using MAF sensor.
so i think better i used R-fit to change my fuel management.
