LSD gearbox oil.

Guys, i need help. may i know what oil normally u guys to put in? Can I simply put any rating oil in? :Not_Impressed:

any brand will do, as long as the pack stated there for gbox with limited slip diff can ady.

any oil that indicate for LSD g/box.. i.e: Motul, Redline, Kaaz

last monday, i change at batu maung w/shop there.. cost me RM110 for Motul lsd oil

y la bro??? y wanna put engine oil into yr lsd??? its like pumping kerosin instead of petrol to yr fuel tank la....

the problem is: when put LSD oil into my LSD gearbox, got sound come out. when use auto oil. it perform cantik. please explain. :X-:

bro dnt kill ur tranny , wht LSD r u using . helical , clutch type , mechanical , torsen , let us know

dnt shoot saying lsd lsd , there are sooo many ,
but the common ones only need gl-5 gb oil
u can get penzoil gl-5 for lsd , 1 lire 13.50 ,
u could get castrol lsx , and lastly toyota lsd 80-90 ,
i still prefer penzoil , much quieter

jinkl, thanks for your reply. actually, i got the lsd car 2nd hand. and the previous owner is the stim stim typical chinese type. he also donno what type of lsd. but he said it's full lock. :X-:

just use gl-5 oil man , auto oil is very thin , when u start whacking it will wear ur lsd n the other parts inside ur gearbox, sure tak tahan long run
remember ur gearbox share oil with ur lsd , take care of it , lsd's are nt easy to find n its expensive, wht engine bro ?

GL-5 spec oil, any brand will do? how about the viscosity rate? 90 or 140?

Last time the pomen juz put full 1 tin off kaaz..i thnk i saw 2 liter..rm1++..long time liaw..forgot..20v that day put red line abot 1.5 l..rm150..i bottle rm50..3 bottle rm150 lo..

just use penzoil gl-5 lsd , rm18 per bottle , nice 80-90w
