yes, its like mr bushidofang said..there are two version, hi-power and silent hi-power...mine is hi-power, thus no silencer..so its quite noisy (bassy noisy) when the rpm is ard 3000 to 4000, equal to 100 - 130km/h, which is my normal cruising speed.
There are few ways for you to eliminate the bassy noise quickly though.
1, rev passed 4500 rpm, which will take you to 140++km/h, or
2, drive it below 90km/h, or
3, turn off the engine
The consequences are
1, you can get lots of summon and increasing your possibility to crash
2, you will arrive late wherever you go or you will die of boring
3, you cannot go anywhere
Because i'm cruising a lot (60% highways) I'm already tired with the noise. Therefore thinking of changing it to the standard one.
But dont get me wrong, this muffler's noise is very2 good at high rpm, esp when you're revving it in the tunnel, owh, I love that sounds! :D
so my plan is, to have two separate muffler..one for daily use, one for weekend, when you're in the mood of spinning the car, if you know what i mean..:p
