I have on the front of my car two craptastic 5.25 dual illuminating speakers. Until i can get my alpine's i want to at least be able to see these things light up but im not sure where to get the power source from. I also have light up pedals and those are already hooked to the healight power so i don't want to drain any more from there and risk blowing a fuse.
I have a 2000 honda civic ex if that helps
I just want to know where i can get a power wire from thx

Where do you stay? How thick the power cable you want? You can try to buy it from electronic shop. If you want a cable that support 300-400watt rms then I have some, it cost rm4.50 per meter.

well i don't care much for the wire thickness.
The speakers are only 135 watts and already hooked in to my head unit and working fine, but they have a separate port for a power supply to light up the LEDs. I just want the LEDs to light up, i already hooked the speakers up etc. I can't seem to find anywhere to hook up the led wires to though, any possible areas?

Light the LEDs only? That's more easy. You can go to any supermarket and buy the wires, I think it will cost you around 0.5-0.8 per meter. If you only want the LED turn on when you turn on your HU, then you can hook it up from your amp since LED don't eat much your power, but becareful, it might bring down your perfomance of you sound system..

to be honest i dont want to run it to my amp though, that's at the back of the car (trunk) and my speakers are up front, i'd probably be putting too many watts into small LED lights if i did that, i was thinking that maybe i could attach it to my dash lights or fusebox?

I still recommend you to install the LEDs from your amp, unless you really good on your car's dashboard wiring. Anyway install from the fuse box also not advisable, as it will on all the time until your battery flat someday or add a switch to turn it on and off, like that is safer.

Method 1.
Using de "remote" wire from yur HU, dis wil light up yur LED only when u turn ON yur HU.

Method 2.
Use yur car ignition to light up LED, if u donno where de ignition wire goes, simply get it from yur HU as well.

Juz my 2cents idea, but make sure everything try it n tested b4 get it installing

As an add on, you can use a relay. As you mentioned, you are having a light up pedal as well. So, why not use that too? From the car light wire, connect it to a relay. So, once you switch on your lights, the relay will turn on your pedal and speakers lights. The relay will draw power directly from the battery. make sure some fuse are in place to protect your component/devices. However, one more question is, does the speakers originally comes with light? Does it has a built in resistor to protect the LED/light?
