ITR Shifter & Type-R Shift Boot

Hi guys, anyone tried fitting a ITR DC2 99 Spec original shifter to their CRX EF-8 linkage before ? Last time I tried using the CTR shifter but the bottom part is too wide to fit in, so not sure if the ITR shifter's bottom is also the same. I don't want to modify the linkage to fit the shifter.

Another thing is, I want to change my original CRX EF-8 shift boot to the Type-R one, which one would be more suitable ? The one from ITR or CTR ? I know both of them doesn't fit directly and requires some modification but which needs the least modification ? Anyone tried it before ? Thanks.. ;)

No one have any ideas or tried using it before in their EF ? :(

Or at least can tell me if the width of the bottom for ITR shifter is it same as CTR or like EG ? Cause if its same as EG then should be able to fit in nicely into EF linkage.. :P
