honda city - lively high revving engine, okay' handling and its a Honda

toyota vios - proven reliability record. 1.5 manual actually hit 215km/h.
nissan sentra - So so handling and letharic engine. Not sure if it's only me as driven a friends 1.6 Sentra Sport to service centre. After atf, engine oil service and throttlle body cleaning done, car still feel lethargic...lol. Proceed to Almera.
nissan almera - New kid on the block. Most comfortable on long distance but stock car had the 'floating' feel driven at 120km/h. Slippery in corner...lol. Changing to wider and better tyres looks the part. (feedback based on driving friend's 1.5 month old Almera to Putrajaya)
peugeot 207 - Beside the Conti feel, I can't find its advantage over the other. If the 206 was a benchmark, which I own for 3 years last time, reliability isn't up to Vios or city standard.
ford fiesta - Fun car to drive. Not to mentioned better gearbox compare to the rest.
Btw, above are my feedback based on personal experience driving own car and also, friends one.
IMO, the best wasy is still going for test drive and 'feel' the car ourselves. Mass opinion can be bias
sometimes.
