My Corrolla drift car uses Ultra Racing's fender bar.

It makes a big difference. Steering response is much more crisp.

Thumbs up to Ultra Racing.

PS : There are 2 Ultra Racing in the market. Ultra Racing and Ultra Racing Development.

I'm refering to Ultra Racing, they're based in Pandan Indah.

Any bars that enhances the handling of a car is good. Doesen't matter the brand. If you compare CUSCO and UR same type of strut bar. Both works the same. But the only advantage CUSCO has is probably lighter weight. The cons for CUSCO is high price.

I mean its not fair to say UR is not good just because they use steel and not some fancy metals. You could always buy a UR bar and stick your favourite tuner sticker on them.:_:

haha...white paint...most important is how much u can pay ?? yes UR material is steel...is stiff....then if u know how thick is the steel tube is even better...cause u can calculate the steel tube stiff....or else u can get the steel tube material spec....

or else u can go to chop shop to buy...they go cusco light and stiff....price ok la....

or else new then go sunway loh...

i too am looking for UR struts for my car.
Weight isnt such a big issue for me cause im searching for stiffness to improve the handling qualities.
UR bars are one piece designs so they have less moving parts

less moving parts = less parts to malfunction = stiffer design = happy me

Juz to share wid u guys bout wat i think ...

If u're not driving a saga/iswara, u can get any bar (as long as not from Brother's) ... whether its URD , UR, ZENDEN, whatever ... It'll work the same. Coz saga the front strut bar i think its better to weld at the chassis then to straight letak on the mounting..
For other cars (most other cars) that those strut bar companies do, front normally can screw on somewhere at the chassis wan ... So dun worry bout any brand.. Altho i wud still like UR tho coz im using them LOL . But if i knew URD was cheaper i wud have gone for URD, or if Zenden made strut bars for Saga i would go for Zenden... Get my drift?

Those bars aren't really heavy la n it wun really affect ur weight unless u're like some extreme racer or sumthin... Cheers.. Juz me few cents :_:

why is cusco rated like such here? there's the normal ones, aluminium and titanium.

theory is, more points is always better than less, up to a certain extent. So yes, UR bars are great.

My front is fitted with a cusco strut because one of the mounting points is used (Ur would use this mounting point to fit one of the points), so i can't fit a 4 point. despite that, i like collecting Japanese performance parts. My rear also 2 point Okuyama Dash. My comments, thumbs up and no regrets! 2 point bars work too.

As for rust, mine has almost none noticable. I've sold one cusco bar (wider type than the common thin bar), it had spots, it might be rust but nothing than a polish could clean off with. i doubt it is rust anyways. I thought of getting UR's 3 point fender bars tho.

See la your preference. sometimes it isn't the performance some people want, sometimes it what the items make them feel. Sometimes that extra umph isn't worth it compared to something else desired. It might not be oh so great but, it's according to ones liking. just like cars =)

But yeah, being very honest in my own opinion, all the struts are good (Weight doesn't make significant difference in struts). It's only bad if they break or bend.
