honda civic 1.7 rs

hi all,
i just got my self a civic 1.7 rs model 2001
its a very economical car..but the only problem
i am facing now is the squeeky noise from the steering wheel..
Can someone out there pls tell me what it is,and also what do it do to repair it???
its really killing me!!!!!!...thanks
