I'm trying to fit a subwoofer in the boot. I've run the signal cables from the stereo to the boot along the side. All I need now is the power cable from the positive terminal on the battery. However I can't find a way to get the cable from the bonnet to the salon under the dashboard. I've looked all around under the bonnet, all under the dash on driver and passenger side. I must be blind, but I can't find a way through. On my previous car (renault megane) it took me an hour to find a way (the patch of cables going to the salon was hidden behind the battery). I've spent ages trying to find it and can't see it.
Please help!
many thanks

p.s. it's a hyundai coupe 2.0 SE R-reg (97/98)

i think it easier to find it from outside.... try the hole tat the washer fluid pipe goin through (back windscreen washer fluid pipe).

try looking from the side or from behind the engine and look for where the lump of wires go inside the car. Usually it goes through an opening with rubber cap. Just poke a hole on the rubber cap and put your wire through it. Then use silicone to seal it back. This is a quick way.

dj u have to go thru the tyre well, quite common in korean cars (hyundai & kia). opening on left rear of firewall, thru tyre-well, thru another hole into the saloon. u need to remove the plastic cover above the tyre to pull the cable thru and get to the 2nd hole. good luck....
