Help Needed, not again,

Hi guys the ultimate has be fallen me, cylinder 4 has either a broken piston or a cracked ring, after going through all the possible ways of fixing it, i have pretty much decided on doing a heart transplant, any idea where i can get a decent mr2 halfcut engine, preferbly 245 version 3 ? thanks

How can you tell, what are the symptoms?

white smoke coming out of the pipe (link to oil catch tank )on the engine block and oil filler cap hole,
did a few compression test (both wet and dry ) and found out that cylinder 4 (closest to the distributor ) has around a reading of 90, the other 3 cylinder reads 180

what kinda prices am i looking at? for 225 and 245,
possible to buy only the engine?

How about a complete ST205 eng which is the same as 245.....comes with turbo. intake manifold, injector, throttle body, n etc

thanks fellas, found a rev 3 in a scrapyard in sg, got it for a bargain too, coz boss din know the difference of rev 2 and 3
