H4 to others

can we change the h4 bulb that we are using to other type? like H1 and so...is it against the law? my mechanic said need to modify the relay to support it..is it true?

i think its ok as long as it the light aint blinding.... jpj officers aint gonna noticed it anyway during roadblocks....

but why H4 wanna change to H1??... less bright wor....

really? which type of bulb is the best? any recommendation? i'm currently using PIAA

i think u cant fit in other than H4 in H4 bulb housing.
the base is different and the bulb dimension is also different.

modifiying can be done to fit in but beam pattern, brightnest and most important, the light might be blinding others.

Philips vision plus might be the best halogen bulb available.
