never heard u need to match a spring with a particular absorber.
get what u need!!!
its either comfort, medium or hard setting. so it entirely depends on ur budget n need. dont have to match anything. i can even use H&R with stock abs. no prob. but this settin will not last long coz the original abs r long stroke. for lowering spring like h&r, get short stroke abs. hope this help...cheers

hey... thanks man... good recommend... improve absorber really good... im like driving new car now... (but donno can tahan for how long only...:)

thats what i say...either u want comfort, handling or somewhere in between, its up to u. some dont mind about riding a horse if they have good handling while some cant forgo comfort for handling...hehehe
anyway, some short stroke abs r good enough to offset that feeling but usually they do. hehehe
MyVi...no idea. maybe not yet. can try asking around.

I wanna get Koni abs and H&R springs for perdana V6? Anyone knows any place to get decent priced genuine products? Cheers

try hokomoto in batu caves...they r the authorized dealer for koni...as for h&r, try speedzone...also in batu caves...

Will do, will get quaotation from both of the shops and will get back to the forum. Hope the abs and spring matches. Any feedback from users out there?

im actually using hotbits...
however, heard speculation about their lifespan....the quality its not consistence.
i got it for free but spent rm700 to service n change all 4 valves...until now, after 3 months, still ok. comfort its there with performance.

however, i know they r expensive...try titan...few friends r using them and all of them give thumps up...

what a joke man. of course there is a compatibality issue here between springs and absobers (hence the term damping and rebound!!). if you have and overly stiff spring (like 20kg/mm) you'd have to get a 'matching' absorber with a very very stiff (damping) setting. if you have a very soft spring, u cant use an overly stiff absorber. so YES, there IS such a thing a 'matching' springs with absorbers. if you want to be safe, get damping (and if possible, rebound as well) adjustable absorbers.

What are the warranty like for hot bits and titan?
