Guide to chose 2nd hand car

Hi there. Im planning to get a 2nd hand Honda Civic (96-97,M) to replace my Iswara, & i need your suggestion on how to get a nice 2nd hand car...
Any recommendation or offer? thanks.

1 thing i recommend u...
always go early if possible.
so that u r there when they start the car for the 1st time in the day...
y?cos i have seen lots of 2nd hand cars dealers who have problem with starting and then they need to start the car and let it run for some time...

look at newspaper,go straight to owner,n then call him bring u test drive on the road,sure the car condition might be good so that he sell him self,or else just throw it to 2nd car dealer more convenient and save time or just trade in^^
