Car stolen & recovered on same day

My auntie's house in Jalan Ipoh was robbed this morning. Apparently, the maid went out of the house to dry some clothes and suddenly 4 Indian men carrying parang climbed over the door and forced themselves into the house. They took away with them handphones, X.O liquor and some other valuable items plus also the key to my auntie's BMW. They just drove off the car. Later my auntie and uncle went to the police station to make a report.

Suddenly my uncle's phone rang, his friend in Kepong called up to say that they saw my auntie's car parked outside a restaurant. They informed the police and brought them to the restaurant in Kepong. My auntie could recognise the 4 Indian men inside there happily eating Bak Kut Teh !!! The car's number plate wasn't changed and all the items they stole were still in the car. The police immediately arrested them and asked them how many times they have done this. The Indian men say they already stole 4 cars this week alone. Really daring and stupid thieves.

Anyway my auntie is very lucky to find back all the things and her car. When my mom told me this incident, I was like shocked. It sounds like what happens in a movie. :D

good thing they got back the car la
some ppl not so fortunate
but those 4 theive quite stupid la...go celebrate so fast...

Maybe they want to borrow that car to go tackle some girl.

4 dumb fucks yay!

Haha those must be the stupidest thieves in the world!! Also first time i heard thieves steal liquor from the house..Haha guess they were really getting ready to celebrate!! Anyway glad to hear that your aunty got back her car and everything else..I wasn't so lucky when my house got robbed.....

Hmm.. in Kepong? I just heard the news that 4 thieves got shot dead after stealing 2 cars.

I also read about the Deva Gang in newspaper just now, but my auntie didn't mention anything about the thieves got shot.. she just say the police confronted the 4 Indians and arrested them... could be another incident in Kepong the same day ?? Many thieves lurking around Kepong area huh ? :(

uh

the same gang i think, but the ones got shot was cornered in a Toyota Wish. The ones who got arrested gave up without a fight in a restaurant in Kepong.

(i think the cops also told them to "give the fark up, your friends have bullet holes in them already") which made them give up so feebly.

hehehe.. serve them right la.. hope the other cars that this bunch of thieves stole can be returned to their rightful owners..

eh..i think those guy is the one who stole your auntie's carlar..newspaper got put also..i think should belar coz they newspaper say they stole BMW.

KUALA LUMPUR: Four of them were on their way to hide their getaway car and weapons while the remaining five waited at a restaurant to celebrate their latest success.

Unknown to the group, better known as the notorious Deva Gang, the police were hot on their trail after they robbed a businessman of his BMW car, Rolex watches and jewellery.

Within 20 minutes of their heist and not far from the latest victim's house, the four were cornered by a police team in a dead-end road in Taman Kepong Baru at noon yesterday.

The robbers tried to shoot their way out of the ambush but were killed when the cops returned fire.

Two hours later, the team found the remaining gang members still eating and drinking – apparently celebrating – at a restaurant in Jinjang Selatan.

They surrendered without a fight when they saw that they had been surrounded by armed policemen. The stolen BMW, watches and jewellery were recovered nearby. One of the robbers had the car keys in his pocket.

Three identity cards have been found on three of the four dead robbers.

From the documents, the three were identified as Ramli Kuppusamy @ Zakaria, 40, K. Vasu, 30, and R. Sivakumar, 30. Police are waiting for fingerprint confirmation of their identities.

City police chief Deputy Commissioner Datuk Mustafa Abdullah gave the entire operations a big thumbs-up, as “the Deva Gang was high on our wanted list.”

The gang is said to have been involved in 14 cases of armed robberies, luxury-car hijacking and murders in Penang, Perak, Selangor and here.
