Well....a choice between a Bravo and a Coupe. The Coupe is selling for RM49500 [year 96] it says 2.0 turbo. And of cuz the Bravo. In terms of speed? mod? maintanence?

Help me out pls. Coz it's a 10k diff between this 2. Both looks nice to me.

go for coupe+2.0+turbocharged+pininfarina design & join the M'sian fiat club for problem solving & parts.

just my 2cents

interms of speed, obviously fiat coupe is the one to go for it.
as for mod potential, fiat coupe is also a better one

maintenance wise..arrrhh i think fiat coupe is more expensive...
anyway fiat coupe don't bring much problem. pretty reliable
not much performance parts in m'sia, u need to get it from overseas

he got a nice looking bravo
infact it is one of the best looking bravo around...

anyway..interested in my car?
im selling it off
alfa romeo 146 1.7 boxer 16v turbocharged.

interested?

erm..fiat coupe performance wise is perfect but not the maintenance wise. my friends car sent to workshop right after chinese new year till now also cannot come out because no spare part. the sum of repairing his car is more 10K already so u have to think twice.

make sure that ur friend send to a proper mec. Coupe maintanance is not that bad.

but dont compare it with the normal saloon to a sports.

i got the 16vt and the 20vt coupe before, without mod. nothing surprise me on the repares, just normal oil & timing belt change only.

bravo 1.8 manual hav no big issue on meaintainance too.

Well i must say... Lot's off pll tell me that the parts are hard to get. Even my dad warn me bout it. Like sub say... Don't f*** up the vital ones. But wat if it really got F***? then will the car rest there for good?

for speed and looks get a coupe. If space is wat u want.. go for bravo... still looks good from behind.. hehehe ...

I know its an old thread but just to add on for info, as a 16v turbo owner, i have had not much problems with the car other then normal wear and tear, as for space can carry for adults and put golf bag in the boot. Power with just changing the filter and exhaust to 2.5" from turbo and nothing else already 200++ bhp and the standard 0-100kmh time is 6.5 sec and now slightly better then that. 20vt standard is 220bhp and 0-100kmh is 6 sec standard and top speed is 250kmh while the 16vt is 240kmh standard. Who ever says that the 16vt is more expensive then a 20vt to maintain has never owned one or has direct info on either model and just guessing or quoating hearsay.
With the exhaust and filter already done, just add uprated fuel regulator and colder plugs (from 6 to 8) and plug in the chip you will be getting approximately a very safe 258bhp for everyday use. There is already 400++bhp 16v turbo's in M'sia running around so look out for them and see what they can do.
