Need your feedback on these make and models:

In terms of fuel saving, engine performance, handling and value for money…

  • SATRIA NEO H-line 1600
  • SAVVY
  • MYVI
  • HYUNDAI GETS
  • KIA ATOZ
  • CHEVROLLETE HATCHBACK
:_:

I can't give you review for each car as i only drove only one from the list which is MyVi. But from my experience, I'd say that MyVi is a good buy. Good fuel economy and ample space. Handling maybe not as sharp as normal sedan car but driving it is still fun. Build quality is better than proton.

agree go for myvi very spacious, even it look small,
even satria neo not as spacious as myvi

SATRIA NEO H-line 1600 - 4/10
SAVVY - 1/10
MYVI - 9/10
HYUNDAI GETS 8/10
KIA ATOZ - 6/10
CHEVROLLETE HATCHBACK 7/10

lavon,

you might be new to forum, but I try to explain your situation by asking you a question,

Orange, Apple, Watermelon, Durian, Kiwi, Papaya.
Please provide a feedback on the fruit above.

You simply can't compare like this, some fruit are imported, all have different taste and etc.

Same thing to your question, it covers 2 doors, hatch, 4 doors, 800 cc to 1600 cc, CKD, CBU, and etc.

PS: You can compare California Sunkist Orange with Arizona Sunkist Orange, but you can't compare California Sunkist Orange with Australia Kiwi.

PS: Myvi itself have 5 different variants, 1.0L Manual, 1.3L M, 1.3L A, 1.3L M EZi, 1.3L A EZi, Fuel consumption, engine performance, price range (different is 10K between the low end to the full flag mode) .

Hope you understand, perhaps you can go test drive every single model listed above before you place your deposit.

Thanks buddy,

I been driving old car and listed above is what in my list of next to buy.... I recently intend to swap powerful engine for my old ride but it seems to be unsafe. I am with budjet upto 70k. Anyhow, Hatchback Chevrollete is way off my league...

I havnt try Neo 1300 nor 1600 nor Getz nor AtoZ... Myvi and Savvy I did. Myvi, I agree its spacious, cute and powerful. Auto, fuel seeping like open pipe tho. I'm still thinking.... appreciate your humble advice.

hmmmm budget 70k y not get 1.5 avanza, good for a family, power enough to go up genting

Well, since you asked for our feedbacks,if I were you,I would add in an additional 10k or so and get a Toyota Vios instead,or a Honda City =)

You have a budget of RM70k?

Get yourself a used Honda Jazz. Simple cars like the Jazz 1.4 will not have much problem, abundant in the market, with current stagnant 2nd hand market, you could press down on a better price.

I did not intend to deviate from your list of options, but since you've placed cars as crappy as Savvy to something of a different league - Optra5; i guess you havent quite made up ur mind, and you wanted to get something "WORTHED"

Hence in part of what i believe, a second hand Honda Jazz is the best option if you could afford, i even saw some around RM60-63k. Get urself a good one and post somne pics here. :)

70k can get u loads of good cars..why do u even bother looking at protons peroduas..and rebadged daewoos(cheverlot)...
i am quite sure u can get a used jazz..or..a vios..or a city..
u can even get some contis...
with thatn kinda budget..always look for good used cars..there are loads available..

Thanks guys... wow, never tot thers rebadged daewoos tho.

Well, I have been thinking about buying 2nd either Japanese or European rides like BMW 318i, Honda V-tech, Audi100, Alfa 146..but it'll be a risk tho... a friend who bought a Honda Vtech 98, have to spend almost 5k to do repairs after a moth owning it.

Ok, I went to Serdang Toyota showroom yesterday and Vios is kinda small in space.. City at a showroom in Taipan Usj is tempting but Im not into that kinda shape. For da Jazz, I went to 2nd hand lots at Klang area but counldnt find any. Maybe 2day I'll try somewhere at Cheras area.

But somehow rather I am very much curious about Neo... no one of you do have any good commen about it? Im gonna test drive, a showroom at Usj probably.
