engine problem....need help...please

hi fellow forummers, i have n enquiry i wld like 2 ask on behalf of a friend of mine...u see he drives around in a wira vr4...until recently he is facing dis problem n i hope d sifus in here can offer any suggestions/opinions/advices or even troubleshoot dis particular problem...

his car, at start up...during idle...idling a bit unstable n at times engine stall...wats d problem?

piping hoses got loose ?

check vacumn hoses first

yeah..i did think of d same possibilty s well....;) but its all ok (according to him la)...he got his stainless steel pipings checked...donno about d vacuum hoses though...let me check wiz him n get back later...

hope i am not too late in helping out but i believe it could be caused by his Blow-Off Valve which i assuming its a VTA (Vent-To-Atmosphere) unit. Try putting back the ori BOV which recirculates the air back into the air intake.
