Oh really... it's LT4 a standalone or piggyback unit?

Can introduce more about LT4 ka,?
What is the fuel mapping resolution?

dude, if u dare, buy your PFC from Japan its much cheaper... a few of my mates bought from there and its abt AUD1k for just the unit minus the hand controller..

that works out to about RM2700 before shipping say 3k max :)

like what the others said, u dont have the hassle of wiring as its plug and play though if you have an auto then it wont work.

U still need someone to map it for u.

Don't just PnP if you buy it from Japan, u still need to do a bit changes in the mapping, cos in Japan the PFC comes in a mapping using RON100. Not suitable for use in Malaysia.

Imagine local mapping and warranty, better buy it in Malaysia.

The price is tempting but the taxes is unknown.

I strongly recommend buy it from Msia :D

latest price for Apexi Power FC in japan is Buy ECU get FOC Handset

SR20Charlie,

if you are interested just to give PowerFC a try..let me know...i can sort out something like a testing session for you..get it if you are satisfied with it..of course terms and condition applied la...PM me if interested...cheers :)

we carry PowerFC Excel software for the last 6 years and has more then 100 of cars running with it (up till 900bhp)...the price that we are doing here is RM4800 with tuning without the commander...VG30 AFM unit, fuel pump, and ECU retuned till 1.2~1.3bar should give you a decent ride...

tony
not to said some bad thing
but with Power FC promotion at japan ,
RM4800 for Power FC with tuning without handset is stiff price

i know we have to paid the tuning cost
but it make the pricing look high
and looking at japan more attractive option

it make more preferable sense like buying direct from japan
then ask you to tune.

tuning might be RM2k but i still have the handset
unless you are not tuning any Power FC that not purchased from your shop la

sorry..
i have no interest to get Power FC
just to voice some opinion only
since i know a lot people interested to get the Power FC
but let down by lack of tuning shop.
and with recent Power FC promotion, it make the interest grow stronger

not everyone willing to spend big $$$ on car modification
especially nissan fella

Tony why do you need VG30 MAF?
Because you're already have the Power FC..
sound like RB26 modification.
SR20 don't use turbo as big as your monster Skyline..

VG30 is the Z32 AFM yeah?
its a common upgrade for Nissans as u would max out ure AFM when u start chasing bigger power

Yes using MAP in PFC but u need to get the Jetro version. :)

over here in Sydney, myself and almost all my frens here run APEXi Power FC. My fren's workshop got the FC Pro software to tune recently, but for many years, just tune using handcontroller with awesome results and no blown engines (tuner knows what he's doing). Very flexible ECU, plug and play, no need to muck around with wiring loom, and can handle just about every mod. if want to run map sensor, as moppy said, get the D Jetro version. And there's also a PowerFC PRO version, which has launch control for drags and ignition cut at rev limit rather than fuel cut to protect engine better. It's an awesome ECU, highly recommended. It's tuning resolution of 20x20=400 is more than what most ppl need already.

my 1c :)

If got budget get Motec. (best standalone I think)

But for RM6K++, I will go for Haltech E6X. Load of other function than fuel and ignition mapping like boost control, anti lag, launch control, etc, etc, etc..

Moppy,
In Ipoh, who is selling Power FC? tune by who? Thanks.
