MT conversion is expensive.. that's for sure..
I think AT B series slushbox also good, esp for daily driver, but I hate the pause when you come out of the corner, you step on the pedal, and you have to wait for the autobox to downshift. (>_>)
You can do left foot braking + throttle to force a shift (I've heard), but I could never do that properly.
how abt transplanting my f20b dohc (now triptronic) into my other sm4 (now sohc manual m'sia DM)? and use the sm4 manual tranny,... i think the tranny ratios wouldnt be superb, but i dont really bother and i just want the vtec.
whole set of wirings to be transplanted as well,... and the ecu as well, rite?
anything to be caution for? i think the 5k rev cut will be there, how to overcome it?
If you can furnish the ratios, I can show a gear stagger chart and compare it with any other manual gearbox of your choice.
You can interpret from the chart how light/heavier the ratio is.

bro, do u experience any flaring (engine revs up after downshifting) its not blippinf, its flaring.yup the MT convertion is expensive...worst i cant find the right one for h22...recently play alot with the AT by shifting it manualy n all of the suddent my d4 indication missing n runing only wt 2nd and 4th gear. After about 100km my charging system out...check the fuse n found the AT ECU fuse blown...replace it n runs perfectly until today..dunno what actually melted the fuse..it might be the AT indication switch???? half enjoyed when i thoght this will be the best time 4 MT but it runs normaly after replacing only a fuse...kekekekek
agree with u when comes to the shifting...i hate it, thats why shift it manualy...
bien...nothing like that very smooth....cub be the clutches as fobs said...
fobs...when ur gb ecu is out the system will let u run the basic gearing manualy so that u can drive ur honda to the workshop for diagnosis...same goes to the engine ecu if any of ur sensors fail....it will run fail save or backup mode
