I have a nob prob n bet many ppl have asked. Tot best check with DC5 owners ;-)
I got the following codes from this website, so q is how to determine if its a k20a engine from the engine code...

eg K20A+engine number means K20A engine?
K20A3+engine number means K20A3 engine?

K20A3 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC '02+ RSX 02+ Civic Si 160hp
K20A2 2.0L DOHC i-VTEC 02+ RSX Type S 02+ Civic TypeR 200hp
K20A 2.0L JDM DOHC i-VTEC '02+ Integra Type R 220ps

ahhh...very simple...no need engine code....just floor the pedel n see if it can go till prob 8.5 - 8.8k rpm for a stock car...hehe...then u know if its a pure type r/.... just my two cents.....no offence...

Yes. Im very interesred also. As im finding dc5 r also. Mind to share any tips hw to spot the roght one and not convert?
